Why Sunday is the Best Day of the Week

Sunday is a day we often look at as untouchable and sacred. Many people take this day to reflect on their week, while others take the opportunity to prepare for what’s to come.

Sunday, in my opinion, is the best and most important day of the week. Fun and random fact about this Sunday Funday term we think is so chic and modern: the earliest observance of “Sunday Funday” is a constitution of Constantine in 321 A.D., enacting that all courts of justice, inhabitants of towns, and workshops were to be at rest on Sunday except those engaged in agricultural labour. Crazy, right!?

With seven other days to choose from, this day makes the most sense and for that here are the four reasons why.

1. Family time: it’s not what we have in our life, but who we have. Spending a solid day with those you love is priceless. For me, Sunday is the obvious choice!

2. Reset: a day that is an official end to the week, yet beginning of another…what better way to reset and start over for a better or improved week?!

3. Reflection: whether attending church every Sunday or going on a walk around your city for a few hours, taking time to unwind and reflect is crucial to finding balance in life.

4. Brunch: foodies nationwide have designated Sunday as a day to celebrate great food all day long. I mean, come on now. It doesn’t get better than a good Sunday brunch.
