Wherever You Go Bring Your Own Sunshine

I recently read a thought-provoking quote by an author named Anthony J. D’Angelo. It reads, “Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.” I sat here and looked at it for a moment and I thought to myself, “He is so right.”

There are many days where it’s going to rain and maybe even storm, but why should that take away your sunshine? To me, sunshine is created by a positive attitude. If you’re always negative, it will stay cloudy. I’ve been seeing a lot of clouds in the sky lately, but I’ve decided its time to push them away.

Here are five ways to cheer up and create your own sunshine:

  1. Count your blessings
  2. Think about positive things happening or going to happen in your life
  3. Spend time with a good friend or family member
  4. Call a grandparent and chat with them for a few minutes
(trust me, they are bound to make you smile)
  5. Do something you love with someone you love
