It’s the beginning of the fall semester, which is my last semester of college ever and it feels really bittersweet. I’m that girl who loved to go back to school shopping for supplies and clothes EVERY year. There was never a moment where I didn’t want the semester to start. For the first time in my life I feel like I am bracing myself for the fall. I know that my future will consist of ups and downs, but I willing and ready to experience the real world of public relations.
I typically write my post each Sunday or Monday every week, but this week I’m obviously behind. That’s ok though. Sometimes you need to take a step back and organize yourself and plan what is next in your week. As I’m bracing for the fall, I’ve been working two jobs and recruiting members for PRSSA this semester. Working a lot in college is important, but setting your priorities straight is even more important.
Organization and preparation are two important factors in bracing yourself for a new semester. Whether you’re balancing a job with school or even just taking a few classes, it’s important to know what your week will consist of ahead of time, especially because curve balls can be thrown at you.
Love what you do and do what you love.
